Acquisitions and aggressive expansion fuel growth: An aggressive expansion plan fueled by acquisitions and a strong global sourcing operation contributed to rapid growth of the company. The company added a music streaming service, mobile games and RPA, as well as a co-working spaces business to its operations. Monstarlab’s ability to administer different businesses and technologies helped it create offices in 26 different locations worldwide.

Growth strains and accounting: Monstarlab's rapid growth also brought challenges with it. Balancing the books across multiple entities on different accounting systems became cumbersome, as did the multiple currencies, languages and tax regulations in the differing countries the business was spread across.

15 countries, one system: Seeking a unified view of all operations, Monstarlab implemented NetSuite OneWorld in order to enable the handling of multiple subsidiaries, currencies, languages and taxation rules, including compliance with IFRS across consolidated worldwide data. Its cloud-based architecture made for a simplified roll-out across multiple countries.

CRM—project management on the horizon: As Monstarlab continues its expansion, NetSuite will allow it to quickly launch new offices and subsidiaries. Meanwhile, the company is exploring the option of adding NetSuite’s project management and CRM capabilities.
