Industry Disruption Catalyst for Change

Confronting a new reality: The transformation across the entertainment industry put increased pressure on talent agencies to evolve to deal with streaming services, new marketing opportunities and more. UTA has responded via acquisitions and new ventures, snapping up smaller competitors to get into areas like egaming, speakers and digital influencers.

Malware incident forces rapid implementation: Like other companies in the industry, UTA was hit with a malware attack in 2017. In response, the agency decided to accelerate a planned upgrade to NetSuite. Bringing in NetSuite Professional Services, the company went live in just three and a half months.

Leaning on NetSuite Professional Services: UTA also had NetSuite Professional Services take over a problematic implementation at another line of business, while also building a custom settlement solution for paying clients. Since implementing NetSuite, UTA has streamlined reporting, has a 360-degree view of the business and the financial consolidation process has gone from three days to one.

NetSuite World Tour: As UTA extends its use of NetSuite, it plans to integrate its Utour/NetSuite concert and revenue tracking system with international offices. UTA is also experiencing rapid growth via acquisitions and new ventures, getting into areas like egaming, speaking engagements and digital influencers. NetSuite is there every step of the way.
