Software Vendor Pipefy Centralises Financial Operations Between Business Units in Brazil and San Francisco

After creating Pipefy in 2015, the founder Alessio Alionço needed a tool up to the task of managing financial processes while he was consolidating two business units, one in Brazil and the other in San Francisco (United States). Today, the result of his efforts—Pipefy’s cloud-based business process management platform—helps customers in more than 215 countries connecting departments, centralising requests and enhancing process visualisations with mastery.

Pipefy + NetSuite = Data Integration Bliss

Investor support fuels global expansion
Demand for advanced process management propelled U.S.-based Pipefy’s growth. In 2018, the company raised $16 million in a Series A round headed by OpenView Partners and Trinity Ventures. A Series B investment in 2019 brought $45 million. Pipefy used that capital to expand; current customers include Coca-Cola, IBM and Visa.
After investment, challenges abound
During the Series B funding, Pipefy’s due diligence team faced the challenge of manually consolidating financial information from two countries to quickly present it to investors. There was a clear need to invest in a software that could integrate data from the existing systems at Pipefy.
Integration makes all the difference
The NetSuite team built—100% remotely—full integrations for the company’s systems, including their own process management software, Pipefy. With NetSuite OneWorld, Pipefy can efficiently compile data from international business units, no longer requiring manually built spreadsheets and month-end closes—which used to take days and can now be done in a day and a half.
Ready for more
Pipefy is number 94 on SaaS Magazine’s 2020 “SaaS 1000” list of the fastest-growing companies. It is spurring even more growth by extending the NetSuite platform to its customers through the integration with the Pipefy software—demonstrating its functionality and sharing winning results worldwide.
