Ch-AMPION-ing a New Approach

Simplifying the ecosystem
Prior to the merger, Revolution IT had a patchwork of tools—MYOB, TimePro, SugarCRM and Taleo—that didn’t integrate properly and provided limited reporting. The business turned to NetSuite in early 2019 to reduce the number of systems it was using and improve functionality. Ampion was looking to upgrade to enterprise level functionality in finance, project management and reporting. Event based and scheduled reporting was a particular interest for Ampion.
A seamless transition
In just four months, Ampion, then Revolution IT, moved the data from its five previous systems to NetSuite to create a comprehensive picture of the entire business, with easy access for its dispersed employee network. Everything is now run through NetSuite, from building out contacts in CRM to creating projects, managing resources, timesheets, invoicing and back-end financials.
Manual no more
Having a consolidated, unified business management solution simplified the merger, which took place late in 2019. And now, Ampion can ensure data—around timesheets, invoicing, financials and more—is properly captured, synchronised and harnessed using automation and event-based notifications. Reports, like accounting’s exception reports, previously took weeks and now take less than a day to run. Leadership easily shares them across the business in real time through NetSuite.
Delivering excellence via data
With greater data control and a complete view of the business, Ampion can focus on delivering excellence to its clients. Moving forward, the team plans to expand its use of NetSuite to areas of the business including marketing and case management.
