Job Description:
The Application Scripting Architect is a mid-level position within NetSuite Professional Services. This position works with NetSuite Professional Services consultants to deliver successful custom solutions built on top of the NetSuite platform. This role will work to solve Customer busines problems with a combination of system architecture and programming skills.

Some of the responsibilties will include (but are not limited to): Designing solutions, creating prototypes, giving client demos, writing and testing scripts, and deploying the solutions to Customer environments. NetSuite's platform uses a combination of Client-Side and Server-Side JavaScript, and Java. PHP or .NET (C#) may also be involved in certain solutions.

The successful candidate must have a passion for business and the technologies that run it, as well as advanced analytical problem solving acumen. Working with aggressive timelines and balancing a portfolio of multiple projects is required.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
• Must have completed multiple computer programming courses
• 2-3 years experience with Java programming is a must.
• Knowledge in PHP, .NET / C#, VB, C/C++, or other application programming languages is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work and contribute to project team planning activities
• Ability to manage time effectively across many concurrent customer projects
• Excellent listening skills, both in situations with NetSuite management as well as with Customers
• Ability to work in a deadline-focused environment, consistently producing deliverables within agreed upon timelines
• Ability to quickly master new technologies
• Ability to work independently
• Experience with one of the following business applications is a must: SAP, Siebel, Oracle, QuickBooks, Great Plains, Salesforce.com, MAS 90, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards
