Job Description:
Qualified candidates are quick learners, organized, responsible, energetic individuals possessing strong communication skills and be extremely proficient with Excel. You will perform a variety of duties mainly related to revenue reconciliation and analysis and a variety of ad-hoc projects. This position will work closely with the Revenue Manager and report to the Assistant Controller.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with revenue manager, analysts and other accounting staff to ensure compliance with Company's monthly close schedule and GAAP reporting requirements
• Stay current on Company's revenue recognition rules and interpretations and incorporate Company's Sales policy changes as necessary
• Work with Revenue Manager to monitor and enforce the Company's revenue recognition policy
• Establish controls necessary to ensure that revenue forecasts, deferred revenue balances and revenue accounting policies are compliant with company's policy and GAAP
• Manage the entire revenue monthly close process, including booking the final revenue and reserve journal entries, producing account reconciliations and revenue/deferred revenue roll-forward schedules and ST/LT analysis
• Be responsible for fluctuation analysis related to recognized and deferred revenues
• Prepare audit schedules and provide analysis for the external auditors on a quarterly basis
• Streamline systems and reporting tools to ensure efficient and support ongoing SEC reporting requirements as necessary
• Aid in maintaining SOX documentation and procedures
• Special projects as requested

Qualifications/Skills:

• BS Degree in Accounting is required and CPA is strongly preferred.
• 4+ years industry accounting experience
• Good technical knowledge of US GAAP, including EITF 00-21, SAB 101 and 104
• Working experience with ERP accounting systems. strong computer skills, particularly with MS Excel
• Ability to efficiently work on several complex issues simultaneously with minimal supervision & strong attention to detail
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Exposure and experience in software revenue recognition is preferred
• Confidence, good judgment, energy and personality to work in a dynamic environment
across all levels of management, business units and functions
• Must be able to drive change in a fast moving environment and work effectively
across the organization, with operational as well as financial personnel
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Self-starter. Ability to work well under pressure & be able to work flexible hours when needed
